CAD and other design aids are indispensable by now, but with the twenty year development of the open source 3D software, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blender.org\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"www.blender.org\" target=\"_blank\">Blender<\/a>, getting into 3D is no longer an investment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Blender being free does not mean it is not powerful and versatile.
