In our road to the International IT seminar happening in the Universidad Europea de Madrid, each of our student teams is in charge of learning about the construction one fifth of our amazing spy devices GPS location boxes, and then teaching first all other teams, and then the rest of the students in the seminar.
Us in Team 1 are in charge of making the GPS work and sending all the necessary data to the other parts. We are two students at the end of our Business and Information Technology degree: Mei Sun Lee and Aleix Renom.
Mei
A person who is friendly and passionate in developing applications. I was living in Beijing, China and move to Finland in 2016. I started the BITE program in 2019 and it has change my world from zero interested in Tech and become super passionate in Tech. I’m really looking forward to visit Madrid and expand our knowledge past what we could learn in our home university.
Aleix
At my home city of Barcelona, in Catalonia (Spain), I did two vocational degrees, one in graphical arts, and another one in videogame development. Shortly after finishing the second one I had the opportunity to move to Helsinki, and already being sick and tired of the incessant summer heat and strange loud people, I jumped on the opportunity without a second thought.
Here, I was able to continue my studies with a bachelor’s degree in IT choosing software development as my major. Now, already nearing the end of my studies, I got the opportunity to return to my home country and share some cool IoT kowledge with our fellow students there.
We have discovered quite a lot since we started, and we will explore it in the next posts.
